We are situated in a stunningly beautiful part of the Lower South Coast, 40km from Scottburg and 30 km from Port Shepstone. From the Old Coast Road you travel inland 4.4km along tar roads, through winding green hills overlooking picturesque dams and sugar cane fields. The air is clear and the sounds comprise mostly birdsong, the call of the Fish Eagles, the muted sound of the sea in the background and sometimes the beautiful harmonies of the sugar cane workers as they cut cane.

We can almost guarantee that amongst the first four sentences any newcomer utters when they arrive here, will be the words "peaceful", "tranquil" or "serene" as well as "clean" and "tidy"!
